Not only were they made to cover the old stuffing,but it was the worst sewing job Ive ever seen. the chair cushion is less than 1 inch on one side. Three inches on the other. I unzippied to find cotton balls stuffed in the sides. Shameful for the price I had to start all over Worst customer service
